Leon Griessmayr is a photographer and videographer from Austria, born in the mountain city of Innsbruck and currently based in the Netherlands. He is studying photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague as part of the Bachelor program at KABK.
Working primarily with analogue photography, Leon is drawn to the hands-on process and the quiet focus it brings. His work explores themes such as memory, connection, and emotional tension, often expressed through portraits and everyday moments.
Influenced by film, architecture, and artists such as Nan Goldin and Masahisa Fukase, Leon aims to create images that feel honest and invite reflection.
